As part of the magazine Die Nacht, broadcast on ARTE, Paul Ouazan, Producer and Director for the ARTE research laboratory, asked him to film the making of the drawings in his notebooks.

 

To do this he put his notebook on the ground, installed a camera equipped with a microphone and he filmed himself drawing the life around him.

 

I set up this device at Hong Kong during the filming of the documentary film on Christopher Doyle, Director of Photography by director Hong Kar Wai broadcast on ARTE, at Kabul in Afghanistan during the filming of the documentary film on the war in Afghanistan broadcast on ARTE et in Essaouira during his vacation.

For Papua in Indonesia, it was as part of his mission as a shooting operator on the Koh-Lanta - TF1 show that he installed this device.

On his days off, he took his notebook, his watercolors, his Iphone and went deep into the Indonesian jungle.

For Afro Tiff, he went to Paris with his notebook, markers, watercolor, brushes, his camera equipped with a microphone. He walked into an Afro hair salon and put his notebook next to the vanity chair. This device was set up for the ARTE research laboratory under the direction of Paul Ouazan assisted by Virginie Lacoste and Jacques Falgous.
